In the last four hours, I have gained a new title: uncle. At around noon today, I gained a niece, 8.5 lbs. Both mother and child reported to be doing well.
A mite late (she was expected on the 1st) but then babies can't read calendars. I had been beginning to think that "Patience" would be an appropriate name for a girl. ;-)
