Memories of Spain, part 3
After I came back from Spain, I realized that I had not really known what to expect of Spain. I had little in the way of preconceived ideas. However, what few preconceived ideas I did have were endorsed by this day. A wide open landscape of olive groves and close spaced whitewashed towns traversed by narrow roads under a blazing sun.
Blazing sun was definitely the operative word: it was very hot for early May. I later calculated that I drank at least 4 liters of water, Coca-Cola and Fanta Limón on the road that day.
